Dear Parents and Carers

Bucknall Summer Term Dates

At last we have almost finalised arrangements for the Summer term and I hope that the calendar shown below will help you to plan for our activities and events. As you may have realised, Mr. Canadine has not returned to school following the Easter holiday and we hope that we will be in a position to update you on the situation in the very near future. As soon as the situation is clarified I will inform you immediately. In the meantime I am pleased to continue to support Bucknall as Interim Head. Please call in to school or telephone if I can help in any way.

Fri 09/07/10	Reports will be sent home
Mon 12/07/10	Year 6 visit to Caythorpe PGL Centre. A day of action, adventure and a meal at the Elite Fish Bar, Tritton Rd Lincoln on the way home. As an end of Primary School treat, there will be no charge for this visit. (Approximate times 8.00am – 7.30pm)
Tues 13/07/10	Parents Evening
Mon 19/07/10	Leavers’ Assembly 2.15pm at St. Margarets church .
Tues 20/07/10	Leavers’ Party 12-3pm at Bucknall school.
Wed 21/07/10	Break up for Summer

In addition to the above events we are also hoping to arrange a Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage day visit. The Key Stage 1 classroom is currently undergoing refurbishment and therefore the class will be taught in the hall for the next two weeks. This unfortunately means that we will be unable to hold parents assemblies during that period. Please join us on Wednesdays from May 26^th for Parents Assemblies each week at 2.40pm.
