Going back to school advice for parents/carers
Welcome to Bucknall Primary School
We are delighted to announce that we received a rating of 'Good' at our January 2018 Ofsted Inspection. Well done and a huge Thank You to all of the pupils, staff, Governors and Parents/Carers who took part in the Inspection. The report is being circulated to all Parents/Carers and can also be read HERE.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors I wish you a very warm welcome.
At Bucknall Primary School we believe our role is to ensure that all of our children achieve the best they possibly can. We do this within the context of a small family focussed environment that stimulates a love of learning. We are committed to our mission statement of ‘Exciting minds, learning, achieving’. Through this we support our children to succeed academically, socially, personally, physically and spiritually, both inside and outside school.
The school environment is a calm and safe place where children feel they are able to ask for support and advice and are part of the decision making process.
Within our village school we have an extremely dedicated staff; teachers, non-teaching and support staff that support each child in reaching their potential. Visitors comment on our supportive team , the family feel of the school and our shared commitment to help every child in the school achieve their best.
We hope as you visit our website you will gain a sense of the value that we place in each child and our desire to ensure that high standards and pupil progress, in all areas, remain as high as possible within the caring and happy community which is Bucknall Primary School.
Thank you for visiting our website, I hope that you will find all that you are looking for However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like some further information or a visit where you would receive a very warm welcome.
I look forward to meeting you and showing you around our wonderful school.
