Summer Term 1
Spring term 2

We had a fun filled World Book Day this year. The teachers dressed as all the colours from 'The Day the Crayons Quit' and read the story out to the children in assembly. We challenged the children to a story quiz and 'guess the reader' where they had to guess which staff member was reading thier favourite book. We finished off the day with some shared reading, where the classes mized together to share stories and information books. It was a lovely day to celebrate brilliant books!
Spring term 1
Woodside wildlife park

We had a brilliant trip to Woodside Wildlife Park - the children were so well behaved and we loved seeing all the different animals. Thank you to zoo keeper Johnny for all your facts and answers.

We have been learning about Polar Animals this term, and have had great fun making polar bear masks!
Autumn term 2

We finished off the Autumn term with our Nativity and Christingle Service at the Church. We are so proud of how hard all the children worked to learn their parts. They even held their own christingle complete with lit candle! Once again they made us very proud and it was lovely to see the church so full with parents and relatives who had come to celebrate with us.

Our Christmas celebrations included a delicious christmas dinner and of course some special visitors - Mr and Mrs Claus!
In November we enjoyed learning about Bonfire Night and Diwali and it was a great chance to talk about fire safety. Lots of firework and bonfire crafts were made aswell to help use practice our fine motor skills and work our finger muscles.
Autumn Term 1
our class routine

Now that we have been at school for a few weeks we are settling well into our class routine.
This is what our days look like, with the adult led learning activity in the afternoon changing each day.
We have some different activities at the beginning of the week:
Monday morning - forest school.
Tuesday morning - PE.
OUr classroom areas
These are some of the classroom areas that we have within our setting. They will change depending on our topic and the children's interests!
We have been exploring 'all about me' this term, including our families, communities and our faces. We used loose parts to make self portraits on the playground.
